• At the forefront of the NW heavy rock invasion through the 70’s.
• Rail was voted “Best Rock Band” three years running, with an extensive history of headlining as well as working with top national such as: Heart, Blue oyster Cult, Van Halen (1980 invasion tour), Ronnie Montrose, Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Edgar Winter, Night Ranger, Sammy Hagar, Ted Nugent Nazareth, Kansas, Triumph, Angel City, Quiet Riot, Beach Boys, Cheap Trick, Three Dog Night, and many more.
• Rail released their 1st album Arrival in the early 80’s.
• In 1983, after winning the MTV Basement Tapes award, Rail signed with EMI America resulting in the release of the 2nd recording Rail (EP).
• Three videos were aired on MTV in hot rotation: "Hello," "1234," and "Fantasy."
• While continuing to tour in the 90’s, the albums Rail III, Big World, and Adio were released.
• In 2000, Rail performed at the grand opening of Paul Allen’s EMP Museum and was inducted into the NW Passage display for all fans to enjoy.
• The latest recording RAIL-V was released in 2022.
• Rail continues to perform with all of the original members.
